BMD – Bone Mineral Density Test
At Corilab in Frascati, it is possible to undergo a BMD – Bone Mineral Density test, a diagnostic examination used to assess bone mineral density.
The examination provides useful information for assessing bone health and as part of the diagnostic process for osteoporosis and other conditions associated with reduced bone density.
The following types of BMD tests are available at our centre:
- Lumbar spine and femoral BMD
- Whole-body BMD
BMD testing is available by appointment only.
BMD testing is available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with appointments every 30 minutes.
